MoveMate was founded by Kalidass Uvaraj — or simply Kali, as friends, colleagues, and clients know him.

His first job was working as a waiter in London, balancing around 20 hours of work each week alongside the demands of his master’s degree studies. Managing both commitments was a true test of perseverance and time management.

As Kali progressed, he carved out a successful career in the UK property sector, gaining invaluable insight into the complexities of the private rental market. Yet, despite his professional achievements, he never forgot the struggles he faced as a newcomer — the overwhelming search for suitable housing, the confusing paperwork, and the emotional toll of homesickness.
